Darryn George lives and works in Christchurch. He designs templates for his hard edged geometric works on computer and later selects those he will paint. His paintings are oil based or acrylic on canvas or in some cases painted directly onto walls.

His work joins modern abstraction together with traditional Maori motifs and designs.
