Derek Henderson was born in Napier in 1963. He now lives and works in Australia and his work is represented in London, Sydney and New York.
His photographic work spans fashion, architecture, still life, advertising, portraits and places. He has established a name for himself shooting high fashion campaigns and his recent work includes photographing Jacinda Ardern for the front cover of US Vogue.
Apart from this he exhibits work as part of his fine arts practice both nationally and internationally.
