Stella Corkery is a visual artist and drummer and was born in 1960. She graduated from Elam School of Fine Art in 2013 with a Masters of Fine Arts.
Her art practice is influenced by feminism, musical improvisation and popular culture. She paints directly onto the canvas without any preparatory drawing or sketching.
She currently lives and works in Auckland.
